...I got to the chapter on jealousy and had a little meltdown. Haven’t written for about 2 weeks. Miss it, but can’t seem to get myself started again…

My journal is filling up fast—I’m a little less than halfway through the journal I bought as a little gift to myself when I started The Artist’s Way. Why is it that BIG journals(meaning lots of pages) with interestingly textured paper are difficult to find?

...and wrote my pages after I had been up a few hours. Still, I really enjoy the process way more than I thought I would.

I’ve completed 3 days of morning pages so far and have completed several of the tasks. After not writing for so long, just spilling my brains into two journals feels pretty good (I keep one journal just for morning pages, and the other is for the tasks, check-ins, affirmations, and blurts). I tend to wake up early when I’m feeling anxious anyway, so this is a good way to get it all out.

I’m trying to figure out what to do for my artist date this week….
