I got Sibelius 4 last week, and started a choral arrangement of the Irish hymn “Be Thou My Vision”. I’m hoping to get it completed by next weekend, so my church choir can take a look at it.

I’ve also been asked to help out our Young Women with a music project. I’m thinking of trying to write an original piece for them, but I need to find a really good text first.

It’s like I have a fear of sitting down at the piano anymore. I get too many ideas at once and can’t sort them all out. I really need to invest in a good, but simple, digital recorder so I can just sing my ideas instead of write all the chords down, etc.

Anybody have any suggestions on a model to buy? The panasonic USR360 looks pretty good, and costs under $70 according to Froogle.
