...while nursing the baby. I’m moving pretty fast through it…and I decided to restart from the beginning January 1st.

Darn it! Things were going so well….Time to get back on the horse and ride!
Still going strong on this one…I’m keeping up pretty well now, and quickly gaining ground on where I should be.
I’m almost ready to begin Mosiah. I am still on track, despite losing a couple of days to spontaneous narcolepsy. I just have to stick to my 6 pages a day (though I’m trying to read 8-10)!
Slow but steady progress…I’m behind where I should be, but I took in all the words of encouragement from the speakers at General Conference this weekend.
I refuse to fail at this goal.
Part of my slowness in reading is trying to make my scripture study more meaningful. I can speed-read novels and newspaper articles, but I want to take the time to ponder the scriptures. I’m wondering if I should switch to reading in the morning, when I’m not falling asleep.
I was up to 1 Ne 15 last night. I’ve been pretty good about sticking to the 6 pages a day schedule, though not perfect. Started reading a history book about Joseph Smith as a companion volume, too.
Even though I had made some rudimentary progress on Gordon B. Hinckley’s directive, I thought that upon listing this goal, I should start fresh and REALLY dive into it.
My ward is on a 3-pages-a-day schedule that started July 1st. Needless to say, I’m way behind on this one, but I hear I can still finish by the deadline reading at a rate of 4 pages a day.
I think for now, I’m going to try for 6 pages a day to see if I can catch up.
