Weight roller coaster 2 years ago

I’ve been working on this goal all year and this is what I’ve learned.

Eat at least 4 meals daily. (bigger the better)
lots of high protein foods like milk, meat, and beans.
don’t snack – this speeds your metabolism
Exercise – weights, weights and more weights.

I did this for about 2 months and easily put on 10-15lbs.

Then. . .

I did a lot of hiking and long distance backpacking eating nothing but carbohydrates for day after day. This dropped my weight back down 5 lbs. but I did notice a lot of muscle gain in my legs which is good.

School’s started again and I’m eating like a horse again and weight training seriously so I’ll get my weight up in no time.



Working out more 2 years ago

I think my diet is much better than before, lots of protein and such. I’ve been doing better working out and I’ve noticed muscle gain, but my weight has only gone up about 5 lbs. It’s weird that everyone I know seems to be dropping weight like it’s out of style, it’s sort of ironic, I guess.



Get in shape by May 2 years ago

I’m 6’2” and weigh about 165 lbs. I plan on eating lots of protein, and calories. I’m exercising a lot so I can build more muscle, so I know it is going to take a lot of food to beef me up. Anyway, I’m starting today and hope to hit 175 before summer break. I gained about 8 pounds during the holidays but lost it all again. This time I’m going to keep it on.
