No one can deny the impact their parents have on their lives. You can’t run away from unresolved issues they will continue to haunt you. My challenge is bringing up the unmentionable issues over my parents divorce, and communicating a bitterness I have harbored for my mother since childhood but without judgment or resentment. The challenge is forgiving and being able to forgive no matter how she responds.
