I’m pregnant with child #2. With my first baby, I was 6 days overdue when the doc performed the standard ultrasound where they measure the depth of the amniotic fluid surrounding the baby. (They measure the depth in cm at the top, each side, and bottom of the image, and add up the measurements for one total cm reading.) 10cm is good; 7 is start-worrying; 5 is flashing-red-light. I was at 1.5cm and had to be induced immediately! I don’t want this to happen again. I need to somehow keep on top of this and get myself to drink a LOT more water than I am usually thirsty for. Any ideas?
