Get a cat when I leave my parents house

In about a year I’ll be leaving my parents house. Then I’ll have a cat for sure.

I’ve nothing against my guinea pig, I love it, but it’s not a cat. Cats are the best pet imho. Dogs are fun also, but I think cats are smarter and requiere less work.
