Transfer Old Home Videos to DVD

Wow…so I finally got the hardware to work so I could transfer VHS to DVD. I plan on transferring all my mom’s old home videos to DVD for her as an X-mas present. After all, VHS don’t last forever. I can see a lot of them starting to deteriorate in quality.
I’ve been sitting here for the past hour or so, watching some of the videos. My mom always taped me practicing the saxophone in 5th grade (I was horrible!). There were times I never even realized she was taping me. She’d set the camcorder on the ground a ways away from me and just record me playing. I can’t help but laugh. Somebody should have suggested that I give up instruments altogether…
