wow its been so long, and I’ve done great, only lately I’ve been slipping up a bit… I’ve been getting the urge to pull, when it that first three weeks I never really did. Every time I start running my fingers through my hair I force myself to stop though, and hopefully the urge will go away again. School is almost out and my stress level will be a lot lower.

Ok, so YAY! I made it to my original goal: 3 weeks, no pulling, but I’m going to extend it to the first day of my summer break, because I know the end of the school year will be stressful, and I still need the support of this goal to get through. I feel like I’m doing really good though. Hardly EVER think about it anymore, and if I ever do, I restrain myself.
Wow… I don’t really think about pulling at all much more, only every once in a while when I get super stressed, but I hold back and don’t. Focusing has been key. My goal is 3 weeks since it takes 3 weeks to break a habit, and hopefully this won’t ever be on my to-do list again after next week.
Omg! Its been one whole week and I’ve not pulled AT ALL! I really think its gonna last this time. I really hope it does. Sitting on/ my hands/ crossing my arms and just keeping myself aware of not doing it is whats really helping. :)!!!
Its been 1 day, no pulling. A couple a times I almost did but I stopped myself. Its going easier than I thought it would be, but I didn’t have a very stressful day so I dunno.
I didn’t really think of it as a big problem, but I know now I need to work on stopping. I don’t do it a lot, only when I’m super stressed or sitting around for long periods of time. I’ve tried to stop before, but I definitely am going to make a more conscious effort this time. I’ll see how its going in a week.
