Looking back on a year with "yes" as my default answer

I now live in a different country
with a new partner
working a new job
I´ve made new friends
I´ve tried out new activities, new foods, new places
It´s been a good year!
Lately I find myself slipping back into old habits, holding back, being hesitant or just afraid to make a fool of myself and so this goal will be one of my 2010 resolutions!

The lutheran church has a new motto for Lenten Season this year:
7 weeks without hesitation.
Learn to let go.
Let yourself be blessed.
Show your colors.
Be courageous.
Live your life.

Now I am not a lutheran, but this seems very good advice to me.
