Book 9 Neverwhere 3 months ago

Neverwhere was an interesting Sci-fi book and I enjoyed being taken into a new world and meeting all the interesting characters. It was gorey in some parts but overall entertaining.

this isn’t looking good, I’m behind. I have a ton of good books in my que to read but I have to take them one at a time.

Book 7 My Very Own Murder 4 months ago

I picked this book up from my local thirft store for $.69 and I’m glad I did. It was a great read and got my interest right off the bat. It was humorous and had a good mystery weaved into a story of a woman starting a new life. The characters were relatable and hilarious.

I recommend it! :)

book 6 The Time Travelers Wife 4 months ago

I enjoyed reading this book. I had started reading it years ago but then misplaced it so when it was finally relocated I started over from the beginning. My sister found it and read it before I did and really wanted me to read it before the movie comes out. I highly recommmend that if you plan on reading the book don’t watch the movie or any previews beforehand otherwise it will spoil big parts of the book. Great book I highly recommend it. Warning, it does contain some sexual content so it’s not for kids.

I'm falling behind 6 months ago

I have so many good books just waiting for me to open them and fall into the stories but for some reason I hesitate and don’t pick them up. I’m falling behind on this goal and thats irritating.

#6 The Thirteenth Tale 6 months ago

I picked this book up at the thrift store, hard back no less, and I really enjoyed reading it. The author has a great voice and I hope that she goes on to write more novels as this is her first.

I highly recommend this book if you like twists and turns and a great story.

#5 The Handmaid's Tale 8 months ago

The Handmaid’s Tale
By Margaret Atwood

This book was odd but I found it to be interesting and my sister also read this one when I was done.

#4 Bitter is the New Black 8 months ago

Bitter is the New Black
By Jen Lancaster

I found this book to be quite funny and entertaining. I recommended it to my sister and she thought it was great too. It’s a memoir of a woman who goes from being wealthy and a bit of a compulsive shopper to being completely broke.

Changed my goal 10 months ago

I changed my goal from 10 books to 20, I think I can do 20 this year and I want to make it a challenge and I think 10 would have been to easy as I just finished my third book today. I’ve really gotten back into reading and enjoy finding a good book you just don’t want to put down.

#3 No Trace by Barry Maitland 10 months ago

I finished this book today and had a hard time putting it down while I was reading it. At first I didn’t think I was going to be able to get through it with all the detail in the first couple chapters but then the mystery kept twisting and turning and I was hooked.
I would recommend this book to people who like mysteries. :)
