I have had this goal for a long time, but have not really done anything about it. I have got to get on board. I am gaining weight like crazy, which is not only unhealthy, but also results in pants that are too tight, and I cannot afford to buy new clothes! I am going to try to stop drinking soda. This should not be that difficult. I will just not buy any more after I finish what is in the fridge. I am going to explore eating more whole grains and buying grains in bulk. I want to work toward eating the proper amount at each meal- 50% of daily intake at breakfast, 40% at lunch, and 10% at supper.

I’m not sure if this counts, but I’m at least trying to limit my consumption somewhat. I’ve been having a NutraGrain bar and a glass of milk for breakfast and a peanutbutter sandwich and a bag of Famous Amos cookies and a Diet Pepsi for lunch each week day. I read somewhere that you should try to eat the same thing every day for breakfast and lunch so you don’t have to think about it. That’s what I’m trying to do. I know the things I’m eating aren’t the greatest in the world, but at least it’s not an excessive amount of food.
