it’s a lie. low-carb is absolutely disgusting. and i’ve always, ALWAYS been a skeptic. but my roommate lost so much weight on it that she had to start eating “normally” again, before she got too skinny, and another friend of mine lost upwards of 100 pounds on the system, so i figured i’d give in and see if it works for me.
let me tell you, though… being able to have full-fat salad dressing and cheese on my salad is a blessing from god. however, eating deli meat straight from the package is something i could live without. but i gotta get that daily protein.
it sucks.
any tips from seasoned low-carbers are VERY welcome!!!

i’ve eaten 1,482,025 salads in the past three weeks. or however many salads you get when you multiply two salads a day by however many days are in three weeks. maybe if i’d eaten something besides salad i’d have the energy to do the math for that. but then last night, after weighing myself and realizing i hadn’t lost any weight, no matter how much i skimp on salad dressing or how many veggies i add, i crumbled and ordered a pizza. it was absolutely disgusting, dripping with grease, but i loved it. and today i’m back to salads. (but i dream about ice cream and thick, juicy hamburgers)
