i used to LOVE getting chain letters in the mail. of course, anyone growing up in today’s world will never really understand what an actual chain letter is. i remember hand-copying five letters, drawing pictures on them, and sending them off, receiving replies from all over the country… boy, was it great! oh, and PEN PALS! i had pen pals from all different countries, and it was such a thrill to get a nice letter from some distant corner of the world. i wish i could bring back this tradition. anyone want a postcard?
