live in an intentional community

we have decided to move into a little community in inner city neighborhood. can’t wait! we’re only planning to do this for a year. so far, our kids are so far not excited, but we hope they’ll come alongside and be somewhat open minded. What i really hope is that there will be great opportunities for them and they’ll realize the value of experiementing and trying new things.

I’ve known for a while that my most central value is community. Its cool to see how our whole family has come alongside – each in their own unique way – and values community too.
One day, I’d really like to experience living with others in an intentional community. Sharing daily life, resources, experiences, supporting each other, while hopefully working toward something bigger than us.
In the meantime, I will continue to foster and invite amazing community in meaningful (but somewhat smaller) ways right where I am!
