my goal for this year is to knit 100 hats for charity.
it will inspire me to knit more, and it will help others.
a friend gave me a box of yarn, so know i have to find out how many hats that will make.
ps. 7 down, 93 to go. =]

right now i’m in the process of knitting two scarves for my boyfriend’s mother.
one is a simple, but heavy scarf that will do well to keep her warm.
the other is going to be a delicate, lacy scarf in a light blue that is similar to the color of my boyfriend’s eye and will be embellished with little blue pearls.
i hope very much that she enjoys them, but i hope even more that i can finish them quickly.
i’ve been knitting for a couple years, and i still haven’t made anything for myself.
is this strange?
i’ve been knitting for almost a year now, and i’ve completed a few projects, but i do need to motivate myself more.
it’s a little hard, though.
i’m a full-time student, and attention deficit…but i really do want to knit more.
i’ve found some great sites that help me get excited about projects and help me learn to become a better knitter.
for those not yet in the know:
knitty.com rocks my socks. =]
