get my tubes tied

i have an appointment tomorrow to speak with my gynocologist about having my tubes.
i’ve talked to my boyfriend about what he thinks about this, and he thinks it’s the best idea.
we’ve talked about options for the future if it comes to a point where we want a child, but for now this choice is just a matter of health and convenience.
i’m a little excited and a bit nervous.

i am currently 23 years old.
so, this means i have 7 years until i can have my tubes tied.
is 23 too young to want tubal ligation?
not when you’re paraplegic and can’t give birth anyhow.

i’ve used pills, patches, and rings.
i just want to get my tubes tied and get it over with, but again, i have 7 years to go.
you’d think that if it were a matter of health, they could make an exception…
