i’ve discovered smartwater.
it’s fresh and clean tasting and has electrolytes.
it makes me feel great!
i have a much easier time drinking it than i do tap-water.
i’m up to about 50oz. per day!

i bought a 16oz. nalgene bottle.
two cups.
that’s not bad.
it’s not so small that it’ll be empty all the time,
and not so big that it’s daunting.
i’ll just keep it with me.
maybe a little lemon in the water.
and this nifty little ice tray.
anything that works.
though i find it difficult to remember (or want) to drink the proper amount of water each day, i am addicted to ice.
i realize that chewing ice irritates some people, but i find that i have major ice cravings if i don’t at least once a day.
i doubt i can eat a days worth of water in ice every day, but i think it helps.
i’m very picky about the taste of water. i’ve even gotten into arguments with people to say that water has no taste. i suppose i’m just too sensative, then.
usually i find that it tastes of pennies, which i can handle for the most part (though, it’s not very refreshing.), but my last apartment had the worst taste i’ve come across in my own home. it tasted of wet dog.
so, in honor of my goal, i’ve invested in a brita for the faucet in my new apartment. the water doesn’t taste as bad, but i figure the best way to get myself to drink water is to remove as much taste as possible.
so far so good. the brita provides water-flavored water.
quality: down –
