Furnish my apartment

two people in one twin bed is not a good thing.
so, my boyfriend and i finally saved a bit of money and bought a full-sized bed.
and a mattress.
and a memory foam mattress-topper.
oh yeah, we went all out!
now we don’t spend all night elbowing each other.
ahh bliss.

all we have next on our “basic furnishings” list is our entertainment center/book shelf.
that’s going to be built.
i’m excited!

my boyfriend and i finally saved up a fair amount and went to ikea.
we got a really cute couch and a dining table and chairs AND new pillows for under $600!
now were back to saving up for another chair for the living room and a bed and mattress.
then it’ll just be up to me to build the entertainment center/bookshelf.
yay progress!

We’ve waited for over two years until we could move into our own, resonable-sized apartment to furnish and decorate it.
Now we’re in the planning stage…along with the “oh, we have to BUY all the furniture…” stage.
We’ve found a lot of stuff we like at Ikea (which seems to be the keyword in this goal), so now we just need to save up a bit.
It’s so exciting deciding how WE want to decorate OUR home, though.
And today we bought a Buddha statue for the bedroom.
One step closer.
