george and i have decided that we want to spend our lives together.
we want to marry each other.
the problem is that i’m on SSI and medicare, and the state is paying for my schooling.
if we were to get married now, they’d take all of that away.
so, the goal is for me to finish my schooling, get a great paying job, find medical insurance on top of whatever insurance my job provides (just to make sure all of my medical needs are covered in case of emergency), and start saving up.
we want to get married on Little Palm Island in the Florida Keys (not that either of us like Florida or the Keys that much, but Little Palm Island is gorgeous) with a very exclusive wedding party.
it’ll cost about $15-20k.
so, that’s our goal.
if we can save up that much money, we’ll be set and will allow ourselves to get married.
it’s kind of sad…but when that day comes, it’ll be the greatest day of our lives.
