They don’t charge my card four months and then an unpaid bill for the total shows up just when I’m off balance, damn, I tought I could wait but Noel was using the space I donated to host one of the uganda villages sites, and not being able to test new stuff is killing me.

Ok, it’s easy…

Drupal  — 9 months ago

I always get to a point I start working and then waste 90% of my time doing sidelines, not the intentional task.

Removed Typo3 and decided to give it a try to Drupal, a lot of good stuff but it would require time to setup, get familiar with the template system and since I wasn’t able to do anything useful in less than an hour gave up on it.

One thing I liked of Drupal is that it has a module to create facebooks applications, I’ll schedule another hour to give it a try next weekend.

Crawling to...  — 11 months ago

At least I’m dedicating half an hour a day to add small stuff. Working now mostly in user interfaces I want to implement. Also started a blog to documentate any code done that can prove useful to someone else.

Arghhhhhhhhh!!  — 2 years ago

Now I’m undecided between typo3 and Mambo. Mambo is great, but to do something “useful” is painfully slow. Typo3 has a cluttered admin interface, it allows you to “build” the hierarchy, which is good, is something you can’t “see” within mambo clearly, but so many options that you get lost.

It seems I better build my own framework from scratch.

Typo3 would be great if I have a clear idea of a static site. But welcomepanama.com as I intended it to be would be half static, half organic.

I’ll go back to do more research.

Content  — 2 years ago

I’ll be spending the weekend at Chiriqui, would be cool to document it and post it as an article. I’ll need to contact Alberto to see if he wants the outdoors section.

Now I got a in construction page..What about the content?!!  — 2 years ago

Well I got to build a construction page so far.
I’m thinking about the content thought, and the design.
My next action is to get a basic template for the content of panamaensis as an article/portrait since most of it is going to be “portraits” of people.

Well, at least I managed to create index.html  — 2 years ago

Well, I’ve owned panamaensis.com and welcomepanama.com for two years now and had nothing much else besides using them to store my files online, an project manager application I rarely use these days. The most active stuff being my photoblog.

Yesterday I managed to build a initial in construction page to shield the default site message.
