Learn Spanish

I’ve got alot of study to do .. and need to start surrounding myself in the language more. I put my favourite show on last night with Spanish subtitles while I was cooking .. it was helpful so that I could walk past the TV and pick up keywords. It’s suprising actually how much I did retain even when I felt like I was failing.

I’m going back to Spanish Class for Term II .. we were given little homework packs to complete and I’m looking forward to getting them marked so I can see just how good that we’re getting.

At a 1st Bday party, i was looking through photos and turns out that the mother studied spanish in uni! I borrowed a spanish dictionary from her and my bf and I will do some study tonight. Perhaps it will be more useful than google translation.

We’ve made it a rule to start studying twice a week because I’m having a very difficult to retain! The grammar is getting me at the moment .. but tomorrow night we will be starting flash cards of all the different verbs and how the pronoun changes in each circumstance.

My boyfriend and I enrolled together so we have someone to bounce it off! I am very excited – My first class is February 9th at a community college.

One word at a time .. slowly slowly!
