find a job i love

I am almost done my first week of my new job. It’s still early, but I am taking faith in the idea that I’ve found a job I’ll enjoy for a while.

My colleagues are good-really smart, warm and caring and they seem to have a real respect for each other. I can see the many things I can learn from them and am working on really believing that my contribution is valuable, valued and is powerful.

I’ve moved continents, countried & cities, gone to loads of agencies, spoken to my life coach about this and now , interviewed lots over the last 2 weeks and now found a job.

On paper it’s the job I’ve been hoping for and I’ve met people in the office who are really warm, smart, experienced, friendly, PEOPLE. So that bodes well.

The contracts not signed yet and I haven’t started work yet. But I am hoping that this is a job I’ll love.

I have an interview to be a brand manager for a toy brand in Europe. It sounds wonderful. And I feel really strong and confident and filled with enthusiasm about it. I don’t know whether this is forever, but I want to be really productive and feel the full extent of my capablities.

I really feel down today. I remembered that I had to go in to work in the morning and my mood dropped. I want to do something that I find creative, filled with energy, laughter. And I want to feel like I’m a part of a team who are creating something.And I’ve had it with working soooo hard to just make it through the day. ...I don’t know where to start.

My CV’s done and I’m ready to send it off on Monday. I just need to get through my visa application and I can start looking for work in Amsterdam.
