I bought an IPOD so that I could isten to guided meditations on the train and it’s working brilliantly. I feel lots calmer and centred than before. I highly recommend it.

I’ve been really bad at this goal. SO when a friend of mine recommended the meditainment site I was reallly pleased. I can make use of the long gtrain time I have every day by listening to guided meditations. It’s not the same as a yoga studio, or a dedicated yoga space, but I’m guessing that something is better than nothing.
after lots of thinking and agonising and findng excuses I realised that there really is only way to do this…..Drum roll please….To do it! So I have. A few minutes in the morning and evening before I sleep. Now for the Friday night challenge. I want to be able to meditate tonight, but maybe the secret is to do it before I go out.
went to another meditation class. It’s all a bit too airy fairy for me. I’ll do this my way.
I attended my first class yesterday after a long while. This course runs for 5 weeks, so that’s at least an hour extra every week and hopefully some practice time.
yeah!
Meditating on my own has just not happened. So I’ve decided to join a course in search of inspiration. 5 weeks x1 session a week. So apart from yoga, I’ve upped my meditation time up signficantly.
I treid to sign up for a weekend retreat to discuss how to incorporate meditation in to busy lives and to get some practice at meditation.
Bombed out as the retreat was full. I’ll aim to get 2 half hour sessions in and a yoga class this weekend.
