learn Dutch

I’ve been chatting to people in Dutch without any major issues. I know that I am making mistakes, but they understand me and I understand most of what they are saying. I’m going to continue studying and talking because I really want to be fluent in Dutch.

This is a big goal for me, that mostly requires me just opening up my mouth and speaking. I am going to do this.

THe llady I met has agreed to see me 3 times a week for the next few weeks. I am a bit scared, as I know that I’m not going to be able to express myself as well as I’d like to, but I’m going to give this my all. I deserve this.

I have found a potential teacher or conversation class. I’m not sure which yet, but I have an appointment tomorrow with her tomorrow.

I’ve also spoken to some language association and they’re going to find me a school. I hope that it’s good.

I’m learning 10 verbs a day on the train. I’m hoping to learn more words so that I can make better sentences and can hopefully understand more of what’s going on. Wish me luck!

I’ve been doing exercises from a book I bought in Maastricht. It’s making a big difference to my confidence. And I’m getting more sentences right when I try to speak.

I have been listening to my cd course and have decided to start paractising with my boyfriend every day. It’s getting easier already.

My cd rom ha arrived and I’m almost done with the first level. I’m doing really well.

The CD ROMs been bought in Holland and is on it’s way in the post.
