Go on a date

Nope. Not even close. One girl I do like found someone and I still have thoughts about a girl I met in college (who I haven’t seen in 4 years). I don’t come across many girls my age. The ones i work with are too young or taken and I never get to bars, unless it’s by myself, which is just awkward. Since I’m no longer incollege I don’t know where to look. I’m also only 5’6” and 130 lbs. Girls don’t seem to like this.

Still haven’t been on a date or been close to going on one, but I did manage to find myself sitting next to the guy who groped me on the bus a few weeks ago. He sat right next to me as he did last time, even though there were many other free seats. This time I made sure not to fall asleep and when his hand started wandering near my leg I kept it at bay with a folder I happened to be carrying. Hooorayyyy!!!!

Um…hmmm…so I’ve never been on a date. It’s that simple. I don’t think I’ve ever even been close to a date. I have also never been kissed and so I’m sure you can guess that I’ve never had sex. At 24 I should have had at least 1 girlfriend, but I haven’t. I don’t know the first thing about dating or girls. I don’t really have a group of friends either. My old friends from high school are gone and I never had many friends in college. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. I do go out to bars, but it’s been by myself and pretty lame.

What have I done? Well, guys have hit on me. One rubbed up against me, another pulled out his penis in front of me, and another groped me on the bus (pretty recent), etc. It concerns me when I see guy after guy getting laid or going out on dates when all I get is groped by some weird gay dude.

I think my problem is that I’m small. I’m 5’6” and 130-135 lbs…you definitely wouldn’t consider me to be a man. I look young for my age as well. My theory is that women and gay men associate my small self with being feminine and thus gay (to the gay men) and unattractive (to the women). I think I will have to get a decent paying job before women recognize me. My younger sister has been in tons of relationships and she’s getting married in July of 2007. Hopefully I’ll be able to pull off a date by then or else it’ll be pretty pathetic.
