Dropped 2 in the city county building waiting to get tasered (pfft hate going through security and the wands – not really tasered but pffffft!)
Some homeless guy picked them up as soon as they hit the ground. He almost appeared out of nowhere, scooped up the change and vanished.

On the floor of a diner near the table I sat at (this was an accidental penny drop, but I decided to leave it)
The reason why I haven’t been dropping pennies as frequently is that I’d like to drop them in different places. Problem is, I go to the same places all the time! And the other day, when I left town—I didn’t have a penny on me and nobody else did either.

I tossed it out on the sidewalk and it rolled until it hit a crack near a 10$ clothes store.

11 Went in front of a pet grooming salon. I have a huge Maine Coon. When it’s time to clip his claws, we all suffer. I’m sure other people have surly pets who hate to be groomed. They need a little bit of luck before they go in.
12 In a copy of the Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants. (Don’t know why. It was there)(1 day later—penny fell out of book onto floor. My boss picked it up and cheered “lucky penny! lucky penny!”)

At the entry way to a mortgage broker. With the housing market the way it is, people need all the encouragement they can get before they go in there!
On the blue mail box in front of the dollar store.
