This year’s Wave Gotik Treffen (is it “Wave Gothic Meeting” in English?) is over now, and I realized that many things in my life have changed so far.
So far, almost every year I thought “I want to go there!”, but ever since I turned more to the visual kei-/j-rock-”scene” (say what you want; I don’t care …) I somehow forgot a little about my past. Now that I listen to gothic music more and have watched videos and pictures of former WGTs, I am starting to long to be a part of this scene again. But whatever. I read that next year’s WGT will take place from 29 May to 1 June, and I am seriously thinking about going there. I remember the tickets were fairly expensive, but maybe I will find a way to earn more money before that …
I think this would be great; there are so many people going there, and even though I am more of a shy person than a person who has no problems with talking to others, I think that these people would maybe actually talk back to me. Of course there are also idiots in the scene, but you always are confronted with this problem, no matter where and who you are …
