...is to be kind to yourself. If you look in the mirror and feel loathing, you’re not creating a mindset that’s conducive to success. You wouldn’t say or think those horrible things about a friend, so why do you think them of yourself?
Make small changes. Walk a little more. Take the stairs every so often. Drink water instead of soda, even diet. Try new foods or old favorites prepared in new ways. Cut everything in half. Keep notes. Gauge your progress by how your clothes fit, not by what the scale says.

it may actually be closer to 20 at this point. trying to stay active and make healthier eating choices. down at least as size as well. go, me!

i lost ten pounds without even trying!
i’ve been walking more, for certain, but it’s definitely because i haven’t been drinking much at all.

i resisted the urge to have a midnight snack. i literally RAN out of the kitchen to avoid looking around. i’m starving, but i am NOT going to eat after 8 pm!
