After months of researching and learning studio recording through online articles and other resources I’m finally ready to spend some time in a real studio. Fortunately my timing couldn’t have been better; this morning I received an e-mail offer for a two-day recording class taught by TapeOp editor Larry Crane. I managed to reserve a space for the February session :

I started reading TapeOp a few years ago as a bored musician killing time between tracks. The incredible interviews (from Jack Endino to Rudy Van Gelder) and DIY aesthetic made this magazine one of my all-time favorites.
