really wanted to drive to the edge of town to capture the sunrise…but it was a work day and the time clock was calling.

this morning before the thaw…the next storm rolls in soon.

I took this photo this morning…the traveling memorial is in my town for Veterans Day…I still have my pow/mia bracelet from so long ago…A volunteer helped me locate my soldier’s name…The soldier was Robert Ernest Rausch…Maj Rausch was from Hicksville, NY…married…Roman Catholic…died missing…air loss,crash…over Laos…I used to watch the news of returning soldiers to see if he would walk off one of those planes and hug his family.

Can someone tell me what this is… I was walking the dog around the corner in Lake Charles, La and spotted this gorgeous bloom.

I learned to make a collage using Picasa…my life may become a series of collages…until I learn a new trick…but how do I display it larger on 43things???

Photo Class project…I will probably retake this one at different times of the day.

I’ve lived here since the Beatles broke up and I never noticed these power lines in our downtown alley.
