so it was a short walk to an endcap at the front of the grocery store…Real Coke from Mexico…made with real sugar…not corn syrup…and a real glass bottle…this makes me want to sing…I’d like to teach the world to sing…

so the “synched” walk was in the local grocery store…spied a new product on the lower shelf…cottonseed oil…I wonder if it’s light and multi-purpose? cotton has become a much bigger crop in the past five years…new gins in this region…we blame ginning season for a host of new allergy problems…but hey we have our own little cotton surplus on the sides of the highway…looks like snow that won’t melt.

I’ve watched the demo and construction for months now…it was very interesting to finally go inside and see the work so far…

They just don’t build ‘em like this anymore…

this is one of my favorite buildings on main street…an old 1929 “Monkey Wards” store. The original tin ceiling is being restored. Hopefully…this project will be the first step in revitalizing our little ol’ downtown area…I cheated…this wasn’t really a walk…I drove

this street was blocked off the summer that the city built this bridge…It provided some fine entertainment for the neighborhood children…much better than staying in the house and watching a video of Bob the Builder.

so I would have something to post. It’s been cold … good excuse…and I just wasn’t seeing anything in this brown dry season. So I took a walk and decided to take pictures of the bridges in the park. On my little trek I found a drill bit, a shiny penny, a big rhinestone and the broken end off of a skate board.
