find at least one thing each day that makes me happy and record it everyday for a year

Landed safe back in Atlanta. Living is something to be happy about!

Well today there was a couple of things that all wrapped into one make me happy. I accomplished my To Do list, watched a movie with my sister-we then danced and sang around the house, tried a new recipe (roasted vegetable soup); which was very tasty…not so pretty on the eyes, but tasty none the less. It will need further retouching though. To top it off I packed my suitcase to go home tomorrow am. Im sad to leave my family here, but excited to get back to my life and routine.

Went out for most of the day with my little sister. Not a cheap date that one, but worth every penny! We went and had lunch at California Pizza Kitchen (one of my faves), saw Monsters vs. Aliens (super cute and funny!), and made cookies together this afternoon. Just a lazy Saturday afternoon for me!

Sat this evening on the couch with my little sister and watched Narnia 2. She sat basically on top of me and we kept passing the frozen lemonade back and forth to each other. Was too cute. Savor these moments, since I dont get to see her that often.

Got to see my little sister doing gymnastics…she is actually really good doing her handstands! Tonight is Thursday and that means “Greys Anatomy” is on…ahhh heaven when I get to watch me some McDreamy!

Got to have a long talk with my best friend. While on the phone we looked up plane tickets and picked times for her to fly up and see me. The thought of getting to “hang” with her is exciting!

Sat on the couch and watched my “trash” shows…ie “The Real Housewives of NYC” yesterday. They had repeats of all the old episodes…smile coming out. Then finished the day at an awesome Italian restaurant…Lucianos. I had the Shrimp Casalinga…totally recommend. Its a hard life but someones gotta do it..;0). Too bad this vacation will come to an end.

Hanging out with my little sister today…doing “makeovers” on each other. Somehow though I looked like the joker when the 6 year old got done with me! She however looked like a 70’s glam queen!

Flew in to see my family here in Michigan and went to get Lebonese food…yummy!
