I forgot that I’d given this up. I was in a “fail” kind of mood, I guess. But anyway…
I resurrected this because I’ve been on a primal diet and I’m down 25 pounds from when I posted this goal. Over halfway there! I’m not weighing again until Jan 1, 2012.

I’ve started this again. I didn’t weigh when I started my diet two weeks ago, but I know I’ve lost seven between the first time I did weigh and today. I’m nine down from when I posted this goal many moons ago.
What has spurred me to do this is the chronic pain in my back. I can grab my stomach and pull it up in such a way that the weight is born by my arms instead of my back, and my back feels so much better.
That’s what I need to remember when those cravings hit.

That’s a 3 pound gain from last week, but it’s understandable. Wednesday, I blew the diet at lunch and had lots of carbs and Tiramisu for lunch. Then Friday I allowed myself a non-diet day because I got off work early and did some touristy things around town. It was like a 4 hours vacation. This week, I hope I can avoid temptation.

Sunday is official weigh-in day. I usually weigh every day even though “they” say you’re not supposed to. But Sunday will be the real results day.
Today, I’m twenty-three down from when I started this goal. Twenty to go.
I’m 7 down from when I started dieting again last Sunday.

Last time I started dieting in earnest, I was 11 pounds down from my high weight. That was a year ago.
This time, I started at 16 pounds down, so I’m happy to report I didn’t gain back *all* the weight I lost before.
I’m trying again. I lost 3 pounds since Sunday, so at this point I’m nineteen down. Twenty-four to go.

I get so close with this goal, and then I mess it all up. The first time, I was one pound away. The second time, two pounds away. Today, I’m 19 pounds away. I don’t want to change my eating habits. I do want to drink more water and exercise more. I’ll work on those habits. At the very least, that should slow down or stop the weight gain.

Due to a virus or some bad food, I lost 3 pounds in the last 24 hours. I’ll take it. Two more to go.

Either the gravity at my new house is “lighter” or all this moving has burned off another pound. Five more to go!
