Stick to my Flylady routines like glue

in doing routines when I get home from work. And today, I’m going to do the routines now plus weekend stuff like laundry. Starting… NOW!

Flylady has declared this week The Great Closet Clean Out. I think I’ll participate. I’ll spend 15 minutes each evening in one of my closets.

I’ve been getting by with sporadic chaos management, but lately I’ve let my poor kitties’ litterboxes go too many nights without scooping. That’s awful for them. I need to get back into my “get home from work” routine that includes scooping nightly.

I found Flylady on Twitter, so I’ll be getting reminders to do things through that medium, too.

I’m not even going to make excuses.

Today, though, I looked at the mission to get things out from under the bed. Everything that’s under my bed, I want under my bed, but some of it is in an old Palais Royale gift box that’s falling apart. So while I was at the store today, I bought a sturdy storage box to replace it. I actually bought two so I can put other stuff in the other one to stow away under the bed. Maybe I should use it for all the stray wires I can’t make myself let go of (phone cords, cable tv cables, ethernet cables, etc.).

Morning Routine
Feet to floor at 6:00 a.m. on work days
Let Lily dawg out
Drink a glass of water
Write dream(s) in journal
Eat some fruit
Dishes
Shower and dress
Computer time
Go to work

Home From Work Routine
Feed Lily
Drink a glass of water
Feed me
Dishes
Take vitamins
Flylady mission
Cat box duty
Sync iPod(s)
Sort Mail
Clear a hotspot
Chorebuster chores

Before Bed Routine
Go outside with Lily and look at the stars
Brush teeth

I said I only do the missions. But now that I’ve read some of the team’s entries about routines, I’m motivated set my own up again. The magic of 43T strikes again. :)
