I felt really great after dance class because everything felt so stretched out. It was also nice to hear my dance teacher tell me I have improved a lot after class.
I can see, though, that I am not doing well consistently, which tells me that I need to practice more. The ideal situation would be to take classes 2x per week, but since I don’t have money for that, I will have to practice at home 1 more time per week.

I forgot to reflect on last week’s class. I still think I’m the worst student in the class, but I also think I improved. I hope to increase my ability to follow through the moves until the end of the class, as I tend to check out after 1 hr and 15 minutes or so.

I took the slower dance class today. It doesn’t look like there are any dance classes for people with zero experience, but this was doable, and I think with more practice, and more thinking about how I learn (as well as anticipating and thinking about the next dance move) will help me improve. I bought a package of lessons today, so there’s no going back!

I took my first beginner’s class today. It was challenging, and the teacher recommended I take a slower class. I will try another by the end of the week, but I am proud that I got up out of bed early, headed to class in the snow, and put in some effort. I’ll get there.

I found what seem like great and affordable dance classes in my area, and I’m going next week. So excited.

I’ve been thinking about it, and I’ve realized that I’m just as interested in other kinds of dance classes as I am in ballet classes. Anything that will teach me how to get my body moving will be good.

I’ve always wanted to know what ballet would be like.
I will do extensive research before I begin. I may push this off for several years…or take yoga.
