2013 Goals

My goals for 2013 are to establish a more regular fitness routine. I go to dance class 1x a week, but I go swimming or yoga from 0 to 4 times a week. I would like to go swimming or to yoga at least 2 times per week, but will try to go more.



November

I exercised most days this month. I am looking forward to keeping it up!



March

I have been dancing and I joined a gym today.



January

I think that while there is still room to grow, I started on the path to a healthier lifestyle. While I was almost never unhealthy, I did go to bed at a reasonable time (almost every day in January) and I ate relatively healthily (considering that it was my birthday this month, and I had two celebrations). I need to work on balancing my meals more, although I don’t like having large breakfasts or lunches. I may just need to have a really small snack at 3:30 pm or so. I signed up and took dance classes (which I continue to take). I am using Clinique products, which are good, and will continue to transition into healthier product-use.

In February, I will focus on:
- balancing my meals more
- eating or using more natural products



2012

In 2012, I will use more natural/organic products (e.g. bodywash, make-up, food- when sensible/possible). I will go to bed when I am sleepy. I will get more active by taking dance classes or going swimming. I will eat healthier foods.

I still don’t eat healthy enough. I’ve definitely incorporated fruits and vegetables well into my diet, but I don’t always eat healthy quantities. I will work on this…



Progress

I’ve been getting to bed at a decent time (never later than 12:30) and I’ve stocked my pantry so that I can eat more healthily.



Goals to Be Met This Week (Repeat)
  • Go to bed by 12:30 am from Wednesday to Sunday
  • Eat balanced meals


November Plan
  • Never go to bed later than 1 am; aim to be in bed by midnight.
  • Eat healthy. Eat balanced meals. Eat smaller portions. Eat slowly.
  • Treat self when appropriate, but don’t over-indulge. Be mindful.


Meditation..it works

+1 to Health.

Meditation seems to be a good part of a before-bed ritual for me. I also plan to use it in stressful situations.
