write a novel

I really want to write a book. The only problem is, I don’t know what style of writing I would use. I would consider myself a decent writer. As of December, I will have a degree in journalism, and I’ve taken a lot of creative writing courses. My biggest concern is this: if I want to write a book, I need to stop reading. Why? Because everytime I finish reading a book, I want to mimic the style of that author. Maybe I have to find out who I am before I can write a book…
