So ive this band, Licketysplit, but we’ve fixed maybe 3 songs total? One of them was included in a BMG compilation last year. and then what? seriously, we’re being overtaken by so many great bands (who have great material, including similar sounding songs ive started years ago!). we keep stopping to further our careers, get more money/work to death and then develop health problems! my bandmates (im no exception) are workaholics!
so i really want to do this album thing soon! like maybe this year! in the next three months! im fixing up all my doodles & taking up BMG’s A&R offer. i have this chance, what every other band out there is dreaming of. all i have to do is prove myself, perfect my craft, follow-through.
EDIT: after maybe 5 years, i finally put out an indie album! but not with my old band. also, another girl wrote/sang all the songs…except one. i guess thats good enough. but i still want to write a full album and put it out there :)
