Drive across the USA

I’m here! I did it! My friend and I made it from Jersey to Cali. A great time with my best friend!! Do it!!!!

It is the day before my cross-country drive is set to begin!!! I’m freaking out but really excited too. Where is that ball of twine everyone keeps talking about???

I just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who has already responded to my question about what I should see. As the trip is getting closer, I am more excited but also more nervous too. THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR ADVICE SO FAR- YOU’VE ALL BEEN SO HELPFUL

I’m moving from NJ to California and I’m planning to drive my car out. What’s the best route? What should I make a point to see along the way? I have a week or more to do it. Any suggestions?
