so the boyfriend and i are making plans to move to monterey in the next year or so. might be a little difficult to integrate a fox into the family, im sure my kitty would have a couple objections, shes used to being an only pet. we would have to get a condo or small house, cause a fox in an apartment? disaster waiting to happen.
ive actually talked to people who have foxes, and the best way to keep them i think is by building an outdoor enclosure that leads into the house via a pet door. obviously they cant be set free- one bred for fur would have no survival skills, so i think an outdoor fox run thing with a few bushes, small trees, etc. would make for one [or more] very happy fox
the only dilemma i see here though, is this: wouldnt it be feral? and if so, how does one go about taming a fox? this is a truly wild animal were talking about

team of six!
now we just need some entries people!
(like my excessive use of excamation points?!)
i need to look into how i might go about adopting a fox(!) it must be one from a fur factory though, not a wild one—that would be too cruel, taking a fox from it’s environ. like that!
i’ve decided that a mink, chinchilla or other animal would be good too, but fox is my first choice!

i read a story once about a girl who saved a fur fox. ever since, it has been one of my top goals. however, my parents are quite averse to taking in any animals in addition to our one dog. i agree that now is a bad time because i have no free time to spend with an extra animal. only two years though, until i can fly off to college, and hopefully i’ll be able to do it then. ooh!—i just can’t wait!!!
