spend more time with my kids

... was bright and sunny and warm, and we finally got our first real taste of California Spring.

i took the kids outside to play after breakfast, and then we went hiking by the creek, and spent an hour or so exploring and finding stones and wading in the water… then hiked out and walked to the park, where we played together and talked and the kids found some new friends, and they got the opportunity to meet a crawdad who was destined for the stew pot tonight. :D i finally got the chance to tell the kids the story of hunting for craw dads in the creek by my home when i was little.

then before we left we met a lady who works with the local animal sanctuary, and we had a great walk home, and now they’re sharing a bath.

we had a great day. :)

i need to do this. seriously.
