I watched “Before the Fall (Napola)” ~ at Netflix’s urging ~ and … OMG it’s incredible. By far one of the best movies I have EVER seen.

It’s based on a true story ~ a soldier falls in love with a transwoman who works at a gay club.
WARNING: Tragic ending.
But ~ well worth watching!
:: sniffle ::
Last night I watched Harold and Maude ~ HIGHLY recommended, this is THE BEST movie I’ve seen in awhile!!
Also watched Jesus Camp, another highly recommended one. Very very necessary to understand the culture war in America right now.
i attempted to watch Beauty Shop … which sucked… i couldn’t make it through Alicia Silverstone’s gawd-awful fake accent (wth was she trying for, anyway??!) at the very beginning, and the stupid “nigga-” this “nigga-” that really pissed me off.
i also attempted to watch Lie With Me, which i suppose would have been good if i wanted a half-decent soft core porno. which i didn’t. :P
i might modify this goal to something along the lines of “watch more good movies” or “watch more family movies” or something…
watched Click tonight.
VERY highly recommended. i think everyone in America needs to see this film. right now.
and not fast forward through any parts. ;)
just watched The Corporation. yikes!
highly recommended.
also watched Doogal – great movie. the kids love it :)
i just watched Alfie (the more recent version) ~ definitely not worth it. :P the ending absolutely sucks. unless you’re a total Jude Law addict (and hey i’m not knocking it if you are LOL) don’t bother.
just watched Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless mind a couple of nights ago. it’s a fantastic movie.
began watching The Royal Tanenbaums last night ~~ great movie, i can’t wait to see the end of it.
Jesus: The Miracle Maker
it’s this cute clamation about Jesus’ life.
it’s really well done! but had i known how violent it was going to be i wouldn’t have straight out let the kids watch it. (oops) although you could say, i should have known – since it’s about His life, and honestly it’s a pretty violent story in parts!
i liked it.
the kids seemed to be neutral.
