one interesting factoid i had never, not EVER noticed before is that the last episode of season 1 ends in the exact same way as the very first episode of season 1 ended! !!!! i’m wondering if this will hold true in future seasons?!!

i just finished with disc 5 of season 1!!

Darkness Falls - this is one of my favorite episodes, one i actually used to have on tape (though i’m not sure what happened to it!). it is absolutely fantastic. i do however have a question ~~ WHY DIDN’T THEY JUST LIGHT A FREAKING FIRE??!! i mean, DUH? they’re in a forest, they need light, they have a park ranger who presumably knows how to do it safely…. uhhh…. why rely on the generator??

but still a great episode. i feel oddly accomplished at having finished disc 5 this week. :D

i just got season 1 disc * 5 * in the mail today, w00! :D

so we all know what i’m doing tonight. ;)

- i’m actually watching the dvd’s on the same tv i originally watched the X Files on (yes, early 90’s!!!) :D it brings back extremely fond memories of hero worship and early obsession. ;)

i now have the 1st dvd of the first season of the x-files!!! :D

i added EVERY SINGLE XFILES DVD to my Netflix queue…! it’s going to take me forever to watch them all. i’m looking forward to it hugely…
