sing every day

Well, I went through my songs today but I didn’t go down to the Gonk…bunch of excuses for it but really, it’s better that I’m here; since I got an appointment for a production of “My Fair Lady” and I want to do my homework…

So, I’m doing some more singing, although privately, not publicly – and getting my chops back up! Chop chop chop!

Went to two auditions this week…went well
but didn’t feel like either of them will yield
any results…but it honestly felt good to do
it again & I sang two songs that I truly love,
“Willing to Ride” from Steel Pier and “Things
in Cyprus,” written by two super-talented
friends for an as-of-yet unproduced show.

Today I sang through two songs I’d like to do
on Monday night at the Algonquin…and plan
to go to two more auditions this week. Looks
like I’m starting to meander my way out of the
post-wedding creative rut!

Now, on to the vacuum…
