I DID end up going to Beloit, WI. Also, I had 6 hours before my flight home from IL, so I went to IN and put my feet in lake Michigan, and then I continued East into Michigan and ate at Taco Bell. So, I am getting closer! Getting my first inroads into the Mid-West!

Beloit, WI is only 20 minutes up the highway, so maybe I will knock off Wisconsin, too! Wow, two new states in one week! I’m past the half way point, now!

Slated to go on a business trip to a town outside of Chicago!

I’m only 2 hours into my flight training, but I am hoping to Fly Myself to some of the states I have yet to visit.

I will have a R/T plane ticket on SouthWest this summer… need a state and an excuse to go there!

I’ve been wanting to do this since I was in grade school and had to learn the state capitals of all the states. My family always traveled on vacation when we were little, and that contributed to my wanderlust. Eventually, I got a job that had offices all around the US and sprinkled throughout Europe and Asia.

• Maryland – the Best rest areas for drivers, but expensive toll roads

• New York – La Guardia Airport for several hours and traffic!
• Tennessee – almost lived there; Memphis & Nashville
• Arkansas – Little Rock
• Mississippi
• Illinois – Ok, maybe this doesn’t really count – sat on the tarmak for several hours while my plane was delayed due to weather
• Idaho – Ditto Illinois
• Pensylvania
• Oregon
• Washington
• Oklahoma
• Louisianna
• North Carolina
• South Carolina
• Hawaii – two islands
