I haven’t thought about this goal in a while, I guess because I am actually doing a decent job of it. I still drink coffee and soda, but apparently not in the mass quantity that I once used to. The Starbucks/Caribou days are becoming fewer and fewer as I am just not willing to spend that kind of money for a drink.
I’ll stick with my Crystal Light infused water instead.

I really should just give up on this or in the least, change it. I have tried to make a concerted effort to stop going to Starbucks. Maybe it’s just me but I really can’t stand to pay over $4 for a freakin’ cup o’ coffee AND THEN have it taste like crap. I’m over it.

I really am doing very well with this goal. I haven’t had a soda since Ash Wednesday and have seriously cut back on the frou frou coffee. It’s gotta be a bad sign with the barista at Caribou Coffee says, “I haven’t seen you in a while..I guess you don’t come by everyday…” Umm, no, not anymore. $4 for a freaking cup of coffee was sending me into early debt!

For Lent I gave up sodas. I gotta say, it’s a good thing. I’m not saying that I don’t crave a coke everyday at 3 oclock, because I do. At least now I’m making the effort to drink water each and everday. Luckily with the help of a fantastic little powder called Crystal Light, I can actually achieve this goal. Yeah me.

it’s nauseating just how much crap i drink on a daily basis. my body would be so happy with me if i would actually nourish it. my problem is that i’m so lazy about it, i won’t force myself to drink it. not anymore. i’m going to force myself to drink water everyday starting immediately.
(ps. watching “supersize me” is not helping at all!)
