adopt a child

8 months to the day after we received his picture for the first time, our son is home. He is 10 months old and is a pure joy. Ok, maybe not all the time, but one little look can erase the screaming cranky moments (from both him and I) away. He and our daughter (the surprise we got while in the process of adopting) love to just look and smile at each other.

We are just waiting on the US Embassy in Guatemala to send us an email with our appointment date to pick up our son! We are so excited and ready to have him home!

My hubby and I have hired an agency and have begun our adoption journey. We are hoping to adopt a little boy from Guatemala. We want a big family, and since I have fertility issues we decided the time is now. We always knew we were going to adopt at some point and we are thrilled that we are starting our family off this way.
