my mistake, I haven’t lost any weight, I think my scale was zeroed.
Anyway, I have even gained a couple of pounds.
I’ve decided that I’m going to join a gym, even if for only a month.
I can’t do much, because of my shoulder, but at least I can jog (hopefully).
I put it off because when I mentioned it to my wife, she automatically said, I want to join a gym. You see, everytime I mention that I want to do something, she says she wants to do it too. That instantly doubles the cost of doing anything. But, not this time, I’m doing this because I need to. I can’t worry about her. I’m just going to say no.

I had ballooned a little bit after fasting, which was to be expected. In order to fight it, I tried to start following the recipes from “You on a Diet.” It is a amazing program. I haven’t been following everything strictly, but I have been trying to follow it. My wife has been supportive as well. Although I didn’t feel like I was loosing weight, my belt felt looser, so I knew something was going on.
Well, I stepped on the scale today, and I am 229 lbs, 34% bf, 48 hydration. Yeah, I’ll take that!
And now I’m about to step it up! I’m having surgery for my shoulder on December 4th, so I want to rev up the metabolism as much as I can because I know that I won’t be able to exercise as much afterwards.

I was talking to an old friend, and he mentioned that he does about 100 pull-ups a day! I’m stuggling with 3!
He told me that there are six basic pull-ups, 3 under-hand, and 3 over-hand. You have wide, intermediate, and close. He told me that I should alternate, doing either over-hand or under-hand for a day. He said just start out doing 2 sets of three for each position. When I’m done, that should be 18 pull-ups a day. Increase once a week.
I tried them last night, and I could do a full one on the first rep of each set, and then I would hit failure. He told me that that’s okay, as long as I try.
So, I’ve been doing my ab excercises every night (just about), I’m going to start this pull-ups routine, and I’m going to start doing Tabata intervals.
I hurt my shoulder, and I have to have surgery soon, so I’m trying to figure out a routine that I can do which will minimize the strain on my shoulder. So far, I think I’m getting it together! Alhamdullilah!

fasting seems to be paying off, lol! So far, I’ve lost about 4 pounds of fat, and almost a pound of muscle. Not too happy about the muscle, so I’ll see if I can adjust something.
235 lbs, 34% bfp, 48 hydration.

I should note that I have stopped eating after 7 o’clock. I may have a few pieces of fruit during the evening, but that’s about it.
I hurt my shoulder a few months ago, and after it popped back in place a few days ago, I realized that it was obviously dislocated. Well, now I’ve been doing push-ups and shadow boxing. I need to increase my muscle mass.
I put my wife on my back and did three sets of squats last night. I was trying to do abs everynight, but haven’t been successful.
I’m also going to start taking the stair whenever possible, no matter how slow I have to walk.
