Read one book per month

today it’s January 4th and I just finished Empress orchide. So for February I’ll read mrs Dalloway…

is quite good, but not pillars standard, anyway I’m on page 207 of 336…
can I manage a 129 pages in 14 days? only time can tell.

I need to read a minimum of two books at any given time. preferably one about something Chinese and one about anything and everything else in the world. So… I decided it was time to give Mrs Dalloway a try. it’s only 146 pages and an introduction. this will be february’s book.

Just finished the Pillars of the Earth, it was amazing… but it took it’s toll.
I really want to finish empress orchide as well this month, since I didnøt start either of the books this year. finishing reading two books must make up for one book in total…

so it’s January and I’m really sick, so I haven’t been able to read during christmas. I want to finish pillars of the earth by Ken follet this month. I have a 120 pages left. so I’ve made a little progress. on Empress orchide my status is unchanged. I’m on page 173 out of 336. So for January and Febuary I want to finish these two books.

...or actually a lot of reading! but I’ve been studying, so it does not count. this month I hope to finish Pillars of the earth by Ken Follet. My mother in law lent it to me ages ago and I want to return it to her before I leave the island. I’m currently at page 546 out of 780 so there is a long way to go,but I’ve read 68 pages since monday (not a lot but considering I have had no time for reading it quite alright).
It is a really good book but sometimes it is so grose I have to leave it for the time being.
I’m also reading Empress Orchide, but that is my Train Book, and as I’m currently on my home island, where we have no trains, I’m not getting any reading done in this book.

Before starting high school I used to read lots of books. Sometimes I managed a book of 400-500 pages in one or two days. Now I’ve left the birds nest and I’m attending university. So I’m starting fresh and I want to read again. This month I’m reading Brick Lane by Monica Ali.
